Lewisburg honors state medalists, record setters and coaches at year‑end meeting

Coaches and student speakers highlighted other achievements: the girls lacrosse team set a school high‑water mark in wins (13‑4), with individual milestones noted; the boys track team was undefeated in the regular season and produced multiple state placers, including an outdoor shot‑put school record; the boys tennis team finished the season with a single loss, won its district and qualified for the state tournament, with a doubles team advancing to the state quarterfinals.
Student speakers and coaches thanked the district for facilities and staff support, singled out volunteer coaches and trainers, and described the behind‑the‑scenes work—summer training, long bus rides and in‑season preparation—that supported the finishes. The board also recognized retiring staff in a brief ceremony following the athletics recognition.
No board policy or budget action was taken as part of the recognitions; board members and administrators used the time to present certificates and to acknowledge the season’s accomplishments.
