On June 11, 2025 the Village of Westmont Planning and Zoning Commission voted to approve a preliminary and final plat and site and landscape plan to subdivide the 5.3‑acre parcel at 701 Oakmont Lane into two lots. The application was filed by Ryan Companies US Incorporated and presented by Eric Nordina of Ryan Companies.
The split will create Lot 1 on the west, which Ryan Companies will retain for surface parking to meet a parking obligation, and Lot 2 on the east, which the developer plans to market for future development. "We're here for a pretty simple request and I'm gonna kinda tee this up and then just get out of the way," Eric Nordina said as he introduced the proposal.
