Hampton Townships community services staff told the council that bids for the Kraus Run stream bank restoration project are due June 23 and that the township will present a recommendation to council after bid review.
"The first item on the agenda is the Kraus Run Stream Bank restoration projects. Bids are due on June 23, and we will have a recommendation for council for your June," said community services staff.
When asked how many bid packets were distributed, staff replied: "Last time I talked to Adam, 3 were sent out." The council did not take formal action at the meeting; staff indicated they will return with a recommendation after bid opening and evaluation.
The project will move forward through the townships bidding process; no contract award was made at this meeting.
