Connetquot recognizes BOCES/CTE students for SkillsUSA regional and state awards

Connetquot Central School District recognized three students who participated in BOCES career and technical education (CTE) programs and placed in SkillsUSA competitions.
The district presented recognition to Chevy Romani for a regional placing in welding, Abby Marino for a regional placing in commercial baking, and Diana Palais Rodriguez for a state placing in art, design and visual communications (and a regional placing for a bulletin-board promotion category). The awards were presented as part of the evening program honoring tenure candidates, retirees and athletic achievements.
The district identified the winners and thanked BOCES and CTE instructors for supporting students who advanced to regional and state competitions.
