Council reappropriates $1,349.42 for veterans’ grave flags from burial fund

A council member moved to reappropriate $1,349.42 from the soldiers burial line (line 6862) to the flags for veterans graves line (line 1261). The motion passed on a voice vote.
The presenter said they had three boxes of flags left (about $220 per box) and would use those next year.
The council recorded no additional conditions on the reappropriation; the funds will be available for the county’s veterans-flag program as described by the presenter.
