Board appoints community members and staff to high school and Franklin PACACs

Board members Stan Williams and Mary (surname not specified in the record) volunteered to serve as the two board representatives on that committee.
Franklin PACAC: the board approved a Franklin PACAC with Michelle Olsen, Nolan Deuce, principals and staff representatives, a tribal appointee to be named by the tribal council, and four community members: Steve Holly, Marissa Koehler, Erica Purvis and Amy Young. Directors Kirsten Williams and Sandy Long agreed to serve as the two board members on the Franklin PACAC.
The board voted to accept both committee lists. A motion to approve the high school PACAC passed with a voice vote; the Franklin PACAC was approved similarly.
Why it matters: PACACs are expected to meet monthly during the design phase and to act as community liaisons for project decisions, helping the district balance design goals with budget realities. Brewer estimated the high school design and construction cycle will span multiple years and said the committees will be asked to remain engaged through design and into construction milestones.
