Eagle Pass MPO considers rotating TAC and policy board meeting sites to member jurisdictions

A staff speaker said the tribe invited board members to visit local roads and facilities to become familiar with infrastructure. The staff presentation suggested starting with TAC meetings because they have fewer technology requirements.
Board members expressed general support for rotating meeting locations. One board member said it would provide “a great opportunity for ... different locations, the equitableness.” Another member cautioned about space limitations at some sites.
The board moved and unanimously approved a motion to consider and begin implementing alternative meeting sites; Miss Cook made the motion and Miss Valeras seconded. No formal schedule or detailed logistics were adopted at the meeting.
