The Fort Lauderdale Nuisance Abatement Board received a brief update on case 24-08-04 for a property on Northwest 10th Terrace. A detective reported four calls in the past 30 days including a hit-and-run, an overdose and one warrant arrest. The detective said no-parking signs that had been posted on wooden posts were missing and asked the owners to reinstall visible signage and consider ropes or other barriers; the board asked staff to verify replacements and to monitor the property for the next month.
The detective told the owner that continuing to call police for trespassers will keep the property on the police radar and encouraged use of cameras and increased patrols where feasible. The board delayed further enforcement for one month to allow the owner to make requested repairs and replacements.
