Commission approves change of officers and directors for MB Spirits LLC

MB Spirits LLC, d/b/a MB Spirits at 170 Everett Ave., notified Chelsea’s Licensing Commission on June 12 of a change in the parent company’s board: James Carlton is leaving and Michael Keyes is being added as a director of Dumoulin Supermarkets Inc., the licensee’s parent company.
Attorney John Aida presented the update and said it was a change at the parent-company level only; there was no change in ownership of MB Spirits LLC and no operational changes at the licensed business. Sergeant Star Chung told the commission the police had run checks on the incoming director and reported no issues.
Commissioners voted to approve the administrative change on the corporate roster; the change is administrative notification to both the local licensing commission and the state Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission (ABCC).
