Trustees noted a discrepancy in the meeting minutes about the student board member representative and asked staff to clarify the status and next steps.

A board member said the minutes implied the student board member representative item had been tabled pending a conversation with the city, but that the item was not listed on the June agenda. The trustee asked who was responsible for arranging that conversation and urged that the board move the matter forward over the summer so students will see the change when school resumes in August.

“We as a board should want to see this take place this summer,” the board member said, noting concern that the minutes did not identify who would follow up. Staff acknowledged the discrepancy and said they would clarify the scheduling and responsible parties.

The entry remains a tabled discussion point rather than a formal action; no vote to place the item on the June agenda was recorded during the work session.
