The clerk’s search indicated no formal letter was sent to the Yakima Nation; some prior outreach may have gone to U.S. Rep. Newhouse or taken the form of a press statement.
Commissioners directed Commissioner McKinney to draft a letter addressing Fire District 11’s concerns about fire and EMS services in the area and to circulate it for the board’s future consideration. The board did not take a formal vote at the work session.
