Penfield district certifies budget vote and elects two board members

The Penfield Central School District announced certified results from the May 20, 2025 budget vote and election at the May 27 board meeting.
The district reported Proposition 1 (the budget) passed with 2,731 yes votes and 1,403 no votes. Proposition 2 (buses) passed with 2,490 yes and 1,640 no. In the board election, Scott Wilson received 2,394 votes; Emily Roberts 2,164 votes; and Susan Gilbert Collins 2,068 votes. The board noted Scott Wilson and Emily Roberts were elected to three-year terms running July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2028; Susan Gilbert Collins was elected to a two-year term ending June 30, 2027.
The board also retroactively approved election inspector appointments for the May 20 vote as presented in the meeting record. No further action was recorded on the certified results.
