Commissioners agreed the existing roof was not historic and that the proposed shingle replacement is appropriate for the Elm Park neighborhood. There were no public comments opposing the project.
The commission approved the certificate by unanimous roll call, with commissioners noting that proposed materials and the neighborhood context made the change acceptable.
