The Delaware County Redevelopment Commission on June 12 voted to withdraw a pending request from Recovery Solutions LLC for an economic development agreement with the commission.

Staff and commissioners said Recovery Solutions is working to use restricted opioid funds from Delaware County and the small towns that do not have an established mechanism to spend those restricted receipts; for that reason, the commission agreed the request should not come before the redevelopment commission for TIF funding and that Recovery Solutions should coordinate with the Economic Development Alliance (CREB) and other entities.

Board action: A motion to withdraw the Recovery Solutions request from the commission’s agenda carried on a roll-call vote with all commissioners recorded as yes.
