Natrona County’s Planning and Zoning Commission voted June 10 to forward a do‑pass recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners for Mar Mac No. 2, a major subdivision that adjusts a lot line east of the Casper airport to create two parcels of about 7.62 and 12.42 acres.
Planner Sean Gustafson told the commission both parcels are in Light Industrial zoning and are currently in commercial use. He said the sites already have water service from the airport line and individual permitted septic systems; no new development is proposed as part of the lot‑line adjustment and DEQ chapter‑23 review was not required because no new lots or development triggering review were proposed. Road and Bridge had no county‑road impacts, county fire and county health raised no objections, and GIS and surveyor comments were addressed on the plat. Staff recommended a due‑pass recommendation to the BOCC.
Bill Farringer, the applicant’s agent, said the adjustment is procedural and will not change existing site operations or infrastructure. The commission voted to recommend approval to the BOCC; the BOCC will hold final public hearing and action at its upcoming meeting.
