Glynn County records seven bids for public safety multiuse facility construction manager at risk

Glynn County Procurement Analyst Nikki Thompson announced seven bids for RFP25-063, the county's construction manager at risk (CMAR) procurement for a Public Safety multiuse facility, at the publicly streamed bid opening.
The CMAR procurement is the contracting method the county is using to select a firm that will manage construction risk and coordinate subcontractors if selected. Thompson said procurement staff and the project manager will review paperwork for accuracy and completeness; a bid tabulation will be posted on the county website and a recommended award will be presented to the finance committee and then to the full Board of Commissioners.
Thompson read the list of firms that submitted proposals: Carol Daniel Construction (Savannah, Georgia); CE Garbett Construction (Pooler, Georgia); JCI Constructors (Mulcher, Georgia); JE Dunn Construction (Kansas City, Missouri); McKnight Construction (Augusta, Georgia); Rees Young (Savannah, Georgia); and Senate Corporation (Savannah, Georgia). Thompson concluded the bid opening and invited questions by email or through the county website.
No selection or formal award took place at the opening; procurement staff will post the formal tabulation and proceed with evaluation.
