Access and parking: Plumas County public works has contacted Caltrans to request an encroachment modification permit to add handicap parking and short‑term (15‑minute) spaces downtown near the pharmacy. Staff cautioned the county can’t change regulations specific to a single business but can adopt local parking changes that benefit the area generally; any ordinance change would go to the Board of Supervisors.
