Following a closed‑session certification, the Accomack County School Board approved a set of personnel and student discipline actions including the superintendent’s employment contract, a personnel list, multiple student readmission cases and long‑term suspensions.

A board member moved to approve the superintendent’s contract "as presented;" the board voted in favor and the chair announced the motion passed. The board also approved the personnel list as presented and approved readmission cases O1, O2 and O3. For student discipline the board approved multiple long‑term suspension recommendations (case identifiers announced during the meeting included O6032504–O6032508) as recommended by staff.

The chair certified that the closed meeting had been conducted in accordance with the Virginia Freedom of Information Act and that only the matters identified in the motion were discussed. The board concluded the meeting with a motion to adjourn.
