The Planning and Zoning Commission on June 11 approved two linked Mohave Valley proposals: a five-star, gated RV resort and a separate covered/open RV and boat storage facility, both of which applicants and staff said would serve the same corridor and complement each other.
Lynn Robinson, representing the resort applicant, told commissioners the target market is “class A coaches,” and that site plans anticipate between “220 and 250 spaces.” Robinson said spaces would be 40 to 80 feet to accommodate large coaches, that the site would be gated, have 24/7 security, quiet hours and no generators, and that utility options include Mojave Electric and a combination of a water company or a private well.
