Orange County legislators confirmed a slate of appointments and reappointments to the Orange County Fire Advisory Board on a unanimous voice vote.
The County Executive’s office submitted the nominations for confirmation. As presented, the only new appointment named was "Nick Nelia from Middletown"; the remainder of nominees were described in the meeting as reappointments. The presenter summarized: "These are appointments and reappointments mostly, to the Orange County Fire Advisory Board. They come to the County Executive from the different battalions and also from the 3 cities. The only only appointment is Nick Nelia from Middletown. Otherwise, the rest of them are all are reappointments, and we're looking for your confirmation of these ones when they're set." The committee called the vote and recorded unanimous approval (legislative request 140).
