Orange County hears proposal for 18.5‑acre town park in Walk Hill with 50% county match

Alan Sorensen, commissioner of planning, said the parcel sits off Meyer Road and would connect to an existing town park, and noted the town was requesting the 50% county match. “It's a good location for the community park being proximate to an existing town park,” Sorensen said. He reported the review committee had vetted the application and recommended funding for the project.
