The Plymouth Select Board voted to award a $15,795 contract to Gutter Done LLC to replace gutters and install covers at Pease Public Library.
Town Manager Scott presented the purchase order to the board, saying the library’s trim boards were rotting because water was falling beside the foundation and that gutter replacement was included in the 2025–26 capital improvement plan. Scott said staff obtained three written quotes: Gutter Done LLC ($15,795), Lake Region Gutter System ($17,850) and A HO Gutters ($20,203), and recommended Gutter Done based on price and prior work for the town.
A Select Board member moved to allocate $15,795 to Gutter Done LLC for installation of 370 linear feet of white gutters, 261 linear feet of downspouts and 370 linear feet of gutter covers; the motion was seconded and approved by the board. No roll-call votes were recorded in the minutes; the chair called for general approval and the motion passed.
Board members said they were pleased to see gutter covers included in the scope to improve durability through the winter and snow season. The action was entered in the meeting’s signature file for formal execution.
The work is intended to protect library building trim and foundation and was budgeted in the town’s 2025–26 CIP schedule. Timing for installation was not stated at the meeting.
