The Sussex County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution A on May 28 appointing Douglas Steinhardt (Douglas Steinhardt, Esq.) as the county adjuster. The appointment was made pursuant to NJSA 30:4-34 and section 2.12.1(g) of the Sussex County Administrative Code (2019).

Deputy Director Space moved the resolution and Commissioner Hayden seconded the motion; the board approved the appointment by roll call with Deputy Director Space, Director Carney, Commissioner DeGroot, Commissioner Hayden and Commissioner Henderson voting yes.

The resolution implements the statutory appointment authority described in NJSA 30:4-34 and the referenced county administrative code provision; the county clerk was directed to record and advertise the appointment as required by county procedure.
