Director reports strong Bigfoot exhibit turnout; committee seeks volunteers for fall events

The director also announced a July 17 program featuring Linda Wells at Red Cedar at 6 p.m.; the director said the museum promoted the event to the local school district and encouraged members to help publicize it.
Committee members discussed staffing a table at the annual historical fair, now scheduled for Oct. 26 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Union. The committee noted staff availability is limited that day and asked staff to contact Lynn to reserve a spot and check the deadline for confirmation. Several members said they might help if available but did not commit to staffing the booth.
The meeting included routine administrative items — the board confirmed that the printed copy of Sue Reed’s book will move forward under a fully signed contract, with work expected to proceed in July. No new budgets or funding allocations for events were approved during the meeting.
