POA, chamber and city increase reward after golf-course vandalism; sheriff investigating

Canyon Lake Chamber president John Grande said the chamber would add $200 to the reward, bringing the public total to $2,400, and City Manager Aaron Brown said the city would contribute $2,000 from available budget funds to help resolve the matter.
Riverside County Sheriff representatives said the department is aware of social-media posts and planned group rides that traverse city gates, and that deputies will monitor and investigate. Captain Jim Veil told council members the sheriff’s office had been “aware” of these groups and is prepared to “deal with it.”
