Commissioners move budget workshop to Friday, Aug. 22 after member scheduling conflict

Board members discussed logistics, noting the change still meets state timing requirements for public hearings and budget submissions. Staff said the workshop would present department budgets with an added IT column and departmental attendance as in prior years; they also said the workshop will include the departments the board wishes to hear from.
The board recorded no objection and agreed staff would circulate updated schedules and the budget packet ahead of the workshop date.
