ACSA adopts rate resolution and approves FY26 operating and capital budgets

ACSA staff told the board that the authority held an advertised public hearing on rates on June 3 and that nobody spoke at that hearing. "We did hold our advertised public hearing on the rates on June 3," an ACSA staff member said during the June 11 meeting.
The board voted to adopt resolution ACSA-a-003-R to enact the rate adjustments presented at the June 3 hearing. Board members then voted to approve the FY2026 operating and capital budgets as presented; the budgets take effect July 1, 2025.
Board discussion on the item was brief. ACSA staff confirmed there were no public speakers at the June 3 hearing. A motion to adopt the resolution and separate motions to approve the operating and capital budgets carried with the ayes recorded by the board.
The board did not amend the rates or the budget at the meeting. The authority’s staff recommended adoption of the resolution and budget package as presented in the board packet.
