Milton Planning Commission tables approval of May 14 minutes after recorded audio was incomplete

The Milton Planning Commission agreed on June 11 to table approval of the minutes for its May 14, 2025 meeting after discovering the meeting audio was missing for part of the recording.
Commissioners noted the minutes include an amendment reference ("as amended") and differed in memory about whether the phrase “other open space” was added to the Title 16 motion. Because the onsite recording lacked audio for portions of the May 14 meeting, the commission decided to verify the audio where available and compare the minutes to the record sent to council before approving the minutes.
"So we'll table this to next meeting, while we go back and verify the audio and, as well as what went to council," the chair said during the meeting. Staff confirmed that some audio exists only for the last 15 minutes of the May 14 recording and that staff will review the council submittal and the recording before bringing the minutes back for approval at the commission's next meeting.
