The property owner, represented by Janice Bolton of Bolton Realty, said the replacement follows newer construction after a prior house burned and that the dog owner requested the fence to allow the pet to use the backyard off-leash.
Commissioners heard that the work will attach to the house and include a gate at the back of the carport. A motion to approve the application was made by Mr. Donohoe and seconded by Dr. Owens; the commission voted in favor by voice vote.
The approval authorizes the applicant to install the fencing as presented, matching the existing materials and alignment on the rear lot line and the two side lot lines. The commission recorded no special conditions beyond standard compliance with submitted plans.
