Baldwin board approves consent agenda, Title IX policy reads and district plans

The Baldwin Union Free School District Board of Education approved multiple business items during the meeting, including routine minutes and financial reports, policy adoptions, and district plans.

Early in the meeting the board approved the minutes of the May 7, 2025 board meeting (motion moved by Mr. Smith, seconded by Mrs. Doresca) and acknowledged receipt of the treasurer’s report for the month ending April 30, 2025 (moved by Mrs. Green, seconded by Mrs. Kools). Later, by consent, the board approved a bundled set of business items described in the Friday mailing as items 03 through 46.

On policy, the board held reads and adopted harassment grievance procedures under Title IX and related exhibit definitions; the motion to adopt those items passed after a read and vote. The board also adopted policy procedures for information and data security breach and notification (procedures 8635) after a motion by Mr. Smith and second by Mrs. Kools.

The board approved the District Professional Development Plan and the revised District Guidance Plan for the 2025–26 school year; both plans were noted as reviewed by committees of school…
