Board approves payroll and claims docket and adjourns to next meeting

The Tunica County Board of Supervisors approved the payroll and the claims docket as presented on the agenda and then adjourned the meeting to the next scheduled session in June.

A staff speaker presented the payroll item and the claims docket for approval. Motions were made and approved by voice vote; for payroll the audio records a motion by “David” and Supervisor William seconding, and the board then approved the claims docket after a motion by Supervisor Nixon with Supervisor Johnson seconding. The chair then entertained a motion to adjourn to the next meeting in June; Supervisor Nixon moved and the board voted to adjourn.
