The Tunica County Board of Supervisors on May 29 voted to accept and take under advisement a proposal concerning the Tunica Medical Clinic.

"At this time, I entertain a motion that we accept and take on advisement of the proposal for the Tunica Medical Clinic," the chair said. A motion was made and seconded; the chair then recorded, "All in favor? Aye. Opposed? Motion carries."

Meeting minutes show staff provided a copy of the proposal and that additional copies were to be made available on request. The board did not attach conditions or schedule a follow-up vote in the portion of the transcript covering the proposal.

The motion places the clinic proposal on the board's work list for further review rather than representing final approval of funding or contractual terms.
