Dean Landfill to open alternate Saturdays and Fridays beginning in June, board approves schedule

The Claiborne County Board of Supervisors approved a revised operating schedule for the Dean Landfill: beginning in June the landfill will be open every other Saturday and every other Friday from 8 a.m. to noon, with a posted calendar and new signs.
County Administrator Dr. Gregory Reed told the board the schedule would be posted on the county website and new signs placed at the landfill. He said landfill revenue reporting will be submitted monthly to the chancery clerk and included in board records. The board voted to adopt the schedule during the meeting.
