Committee advances Business Improvement District board ordinance to final reading

County Attorney Matt Enroof said he reviewed the draft with Director Burns and noted only a typographical error that will be corrected before final passage. Enroof told the committee that "this specific ordinance is to provide for the establishment of the bid board of trustees" and that he believes it complies with the requirements for forming the board.
A commissioner moved to advance the ordinance to final reading; the motion carried 5‑0. Director Burns was not present at the committee meeting; Enroof said he and Director Burns had worked together on the text.
The ordinance will proceed to final reading with a minor correction to the draft text before final adoption consideration.
