At its June 11, 2025 meeting the Cobb County Board of Zoning Appeals approved the consent agenda of routine variance requests by a 4-0 vote. Staff had reviewed the items and recommended approval; the board voted to adopt the consent agenda and those cases will move forward subject to any staff conditions noted in each file.
Cases read into the record on the consent agenda included variance case V62 (front and side setback reductions), V63 (side setback and accessory-structure setback for a proposed shed), V66 (fence height), V67 (pool and decking setbacks), V69 (sports court setbacks), V70 (impervious surface increase), V71 (impervious surface and side setback increases), V72 (parking reduction), and V73 (rear setback and impervious-surface increase). Staff recommended approval of these items, generally subject to stormwater, traffic or sewer comments as noted during the readings.
The board also heard a brief announcement that variance case B64 of 2025, CAP Media Group LLC, was withdrawn and would not be heard.
The consent agenda passed 4-0, and the board moved on to the regular case agenda. Applicants for approved consent items were told they could leave if they wished after the motion passed.
