Sean (Strometric) reported to the Administration Communication and Technology Committee on June 10 that Ellen Libby of Keystone Partners began providing interim HR support the previous week, working Monday, Wednesday and Thursday for six hours per day and producing weekly reports and a mid‑engagement assessment outline.
Sean said Libby has helped with several short‑term disability applications, handled four workers’ compensation matters, created standardized onboarding processes, and provided guidance on interview questions and candidate screening in an ongoing director‑level recruitment. He said the town is “getting close to… zeroing in on the next director” for the director of building and housing position and that staff may have more to report next month or send an email update if an offer is made before then.
No formal action was taken on HR matters at the meeting.
