No one representing the applicant appeared at the podium. One board member noted past practice that failure to appear could result in an automatic denial; another moved to defer the item 30 days so the applicant could be contacted. The motion to defer carried on roll call. Staff said the matter will be placed on next month's agenda and the county will attempt to reach the applicant by phone.
