Council OKs UW–Superior invasive-plant removal and habitat restoration on Wisconsin Point

Nicholas Dance of UW–Superior asked the council for authorization to undertake a long-term restoration project on the site. Council approved the request by voice vote with no recorded opposition.
The project focuses on invasive-species removal and habitat restoration on city-owned property; staff and the university will coordinate details and any necessary permits or maintenance arrangements.
