Board approves multi‑year contract amendments, salary increases for superintendent and assistant superintendents

The Los Altos School District Board of Trustees unanimously approved amendments to employment agreements for the superintendent and three assistant superintendents that extend contract terms through June 30, 2028, raise base salaries and align health and welfare benefits with certificated management personnel.
The superintendent’s contract was amended to provide base salary adjustments capped at $337,720 effective July 1, 2025; assistant superintendent contracts were amended with base salaries and degree stipends as presented (assistant superintendent educational services: $295,900 plus a $2,500 doctorate stipend; assistant superintendent business services: $295,900 and a $2,000 master’s stipend). Staff said the costs are built into the AB 1200 financial disclosures and the adopted budget.
Board members moved and seconded each amendment (motions by Vladimir, seconds by Stella) and voted unanimously on each contract amendment. Staff noted the AB 1200 disclosures and 80/1200 documents were prepared and that the costs were included in the district budget.
