"We've been very much interested in the street lighting program over past several months and want to thank Chief Williams for being so cooperative and sharing information, returning my phone calls, to give us information with regards to the street lighting program and how things are moving along with what their priorities are," Davis said. He identified himself as speaking on behalf of "the concerned taxpayers of Richmond Heights" and offered that residents, including himself and "Dr. Ackerman," are available to provide input.
Council acknowledged Davis's remarks. No formal council action on street lighting was taken during the June 10 meeting; the comment was received during the public-comment portion of the agenda.
