Commission approves parking‑fee waivers for major standing events, NDOT to add fee estimates to future reports

A commissioner asked for lost-revenue estimates; Matias said the number of spaces for New Year’s Eve is roughly 150–250 and that, at the current daily curb fee of $35, New Year’s Eve would equate to around $7,000 (approximate). Commissioners asked NDOT to include estimated waiver amounts in the staff analysis for future reports. The commission voted to approve the parking-fee waivers.
