The equipment ultimately purchased — an iPad with two‑year protection and a stand — cost about $464.12. Commissioners approved the transfer from equipment maintenance to equipment to reflect the lower final cost.
Julie from central dispatch requested appropriation of grant funds awarded for updating mapping to comply with Next Generation 911 standards; she said the grant is "100% reimbursable" and requested the county appropriate the funds so the department can complete the work and submit reimbursement claims. Mike Sprinkle moved to approve; the motion carried.
Clerk's office staff requested transfers to correct payment coding between maintenance contracts and license renewals; commissioners approved the transfers with no net change to the budget. Commissioners also approved a $24,864 expense charged to the TIF GPS fund for road improvements originally planned for 2024 and an equipment transfer Julie had described earlier.
Commissioners received packet materials that included DCH finance committee minutes, visitors bureau minutes and a jail inspection report; no additional actions were taken on those items during the meeting.
