Sydney’s solar farm reported operational; initial output near guaranteed level

City staff member Josh told the council the solar farm has a rated capacity of 3,800 kilowatts. The council asked staff to include metering information in a future meeting so the council can track kilowatt-hour production and compare it to guarantees and expected output. Staff said they will return with meter-read data at the next meeting for a more complete monthly average.
Councilmembers welcomed the update and noted no major operational issues had been reported in the days since the certificate of operation was issued.
