The Town Council of St. John on June 11 approved several standalone items in a single consent-style sequence: authorization for the police department to sell surplus Motorola APX 6000 portable radios, approval of a special exception to allow a sports court at 12240 West 80 Third Place in a residential zoning district, and an agreement allowing the town access to Harry A. and Catherine A. Snell—s property for FreedomFest fireworks. All three motions passed by 5-0 roll-call votes.
The special exception included a favorable recommendation from the Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) as noted on the agenda. The police equipment sale was noted as a correction in the agenda (a misprint) clarifying the model as APX 6000 portable radios no longer in use.
Councilmembers recorded no extended debate or public comment on these items in the meeting transcript; each passed on unanimous roll calls.
