Board approves annual memorandums of agreement with community partners, highlights local mental-health provider

The Nelson County Board of Education approved its annual memorandums of agreement (MOAs) with community partners at the June 10 meeting, listing local and regional providers who support students and noting one new local partner.
Staff presenters Stacy Holderman and Madeline reviewed the MOA list and highlighted Lemonade Mental Health Therapy Services, described as a local mental-health agency in Bardstown that will provide services and supports to students. Staff also noted that Already Autism (formerly Commonwealth ABA) remains a partner after structural changes and provides autism screening, board-certified behavior analysts and registered behavior technicians for qualifying students.
Board members commended the partnerships and noted that external providers expand access beyond district-employed clinicians, helping meet students’ needs given caseloads. Staff also noted that numerous universities serve Nelson County as clinical sites, bringing practicum and intern students into district schools.
A motion to approve the annual MOA list passed unanimously. Staff said the agreements reflect partners used during the 2024–25 school year and will continue to be monitored and updated.
