Columbia County's Development and Planning Services Committee on June 10 received several informational reports from staff, including the planning department workload and monthly measurement report (May 25), the April plan review monthly report, the development services monthly report and the development services financial report. All were presented for information only and required no committee action.
Staff invited questions on each report; committee members had none and accepted the reports for the record. The development services staff member also presented the county's temporary alcohol permits report and noted several events in the most recent period, including a sailing club event listed in the report. A comment was made suggesting the Augusta Press might publicize temporary permits alongside public meeting notices; staff acknowledged the suggestion but no action was directed.
All reports were provided to the committee as informational items; staff said they would answer any follow-up questions if committee members requested them outside the meeting.
