Commission approves partial rezoning for Kinser property on Highway 53 West

Staff recommended approval, noting access via an easement from Rim Road and that the site is surrounded by agricultural and residential uses. "The applicant intends to split the property into a 9.098 acre tract and a 3.982 acre tract," staff said.
The applicant confirmed plans to return to Pickens County and to pursue the split depending on finances. Commissioners moved, seconded and voted to approve the rezoning after the public hearing; no public speakers objected during the hearing.
The rezoning was approved consistent with the staff recommendation for RZ190944.
