Nature‑trail contractor to finish punch‑list and invasive control; commission to verify signage and fence repairs

Staff said they and the contractor reviewed erosion controls, the invasive species tarp and pathway items and that the contractor’s specialist will reassess knotweed and other invasives and perform additional removal if needed. "They should be tackling all of the checklist items within between now and give or take a week and a half, 2 weeks from now," staff said.
The commission also discussed signage and a short section of additional fencing in a steeper middle section of the trail near the cemetery culvert; staff said the contractor will add one small fence section to improve safety and will address a sign that staff reported was missing near the lakeside. The commission will continue to inspect the site until the punch list items are complete.
