The commission reviewed a planting update for 282 Forsyth Drive and heard that recent tree and shrub plantings are establishing well.
A staff speaker said the site had four black cherry and four red maple planted and that the trees had been in the ground about three weeks; the planted area was staked and positioned to protect the adjacent wetland. "Those have been in the ground for about, 3 weeks now also. And they're just remarkable," the staff member said while describing the contractor’s work.
Commissioners said they did not need a formal vote on the item and indicated staff could proceed with administrative compliance documentation. The commission will continue to monitor the planting survival during routine follow‑up inspections.
