Tiverton School Committee approves McKinney‑Vento and classroom observation policies

A motion to approve Policy 1201 carried unanimously after brief procedural questions; the committee chair noted that decommissioning of the older Policy 1200 (referenced by a committee member) will require a separate vote at a future meeting. The committee then voted to approve Policy 566, the classroom observation policy, also by unanimous vote.
Committee members had no substantive policy changes to raise during the approval votes; the two policies will be added to the district policy manual as adopted.
